UPA STATEMENT REGARDING COLLEGIATE CONFERENCE 1

The UPA thanks all of those in the community who have expressed concern regarding the recent announcement by Cultimate to conduct a competing collegiate championship series.

Although Cultimate has had cursory discussions with select UPA Board members, they did so after making plans to announce the series.

The UPA has always been interested in collaborating with any members that have energy around making improvements to the College Series and services, and to that end scheduled a meeting with Cultimate in order to determine whether there is any room for collaboration.

Our plan is to issue a public statement on this matter once we have talked with Cultimate.
