RRI Algorithm
RRI is based on the same algorithm used in NCAA Hockey's KRACH. For more information on the algorithm, see NCAA Hockey's KRACH FAQ.

Instead of using straight 1-0 for a win, game scores are used to compute a Win Confidence Score for each game. WCS indicates how likely the same team is to win a rematch, based only on the score of that one game. A shutout has a WCS of 100%, a 15-14 is just over 50%.

The Score Predictions page shows predicted scores between any two teams. If two teams play and have a result equal to the predicted score, neither team's RRI will change. Scoring better than the predicted score will cause a team's RRI to increase and the opponent's RRI to decrease.
