Batavia at Engstrom Park has been revived this past Summer (2007) and we will be looking to continue this for Summer 2008. We are a normally a small group, numbers have restricted us to two teams (yet only a maximum of four due to limited space), and new faces are always welcome. These are low-key, pick-up games. Illinois Wesleyan University quad M-F 4:00-5:30 while the
weather lasts. Tuesdays and Thursdays are generally our 'practice'
days where we might be doing drills and such, but anyone is welcome
to join and a game almost always follows.

space when marking the person with the disc) We have all levels of players from
novice to club players. We play hard and have a good time until the sun goes

We're a new group forming in Freeport. We usually play three games to seven and our athletic/competition level varies from week to week. Please bring plenty of water to drink.
On Knox Campus somewheres. We normally practice on a field
in the middle of campus, and people tell me we move inside when it gets
cold, and apparently we play in the bowl at some point too. Our Practices
are at 4:00 PM on tuesday and thursday, but at 1:00 PM on the weekends.

Between Huntington and Ela on Central Road, North of I-90, you can see the field if you're getting off on Barrington exit Westbound.
Matt leaves for Los Angeles on June 14th, but the game will probably keep going throughout the summer.
Directions: I-80 to Larkin Road Exit. Turn onto Larkin heading away from ComEd's power plant. You'll see the school on the left-hand side of the road if you are going the right way on Larkin. Turn left at the light on the corner of Glenwood/Larkin. Enterance to parking is on the left-hand side, right before the tennis courts.
Right now, we aren't meeting at the field or playing - this is me trying to start some summer frisbee. If I recieve enough feedback regarding this pickup idea, I will repost here stating that the pickup games have begun.

Directions: Just off of Wheeling Road, between Hintz and Palatine: Equestrian Drive. Park by the baseball diamond. If there is a softball game or something else going on at that field, a secondary field is to the left of the entrance, past the trees.
As far as skill level is concerned, we are a pretty tight group, on the high end of mid-skill level (if that makes any sense to anyone at all). Physical fitness, however, varies by player.
