TEAM HISTORY/SEASON RECAP

A few significant things have changed over the course of Mélée's four and a half year history: a name change (from the old school "Lady Marmalade"), new and improved jerseys, and our coaches (our new amazing coaches John "Kid" Hammond and Martha "Mak" Keltner), just to name a few. But most things haven't changed; Mélée still doesn't have cuts, we still have the same core group of women that started the team 4 years ago (along with the amazing recruits from subsequent years), we still travel far and wide to seek the best competition in the nation, and we still love each other and the game above all else.

Wrapping up our best season yet, the 2004 season is the end of the beginning with the loss of our last founding players, but it's only the beginning of one of the strongest college women's programs to come out of the South.

And one more thing for all the ladies...

What's cooler than being cool? …Mélée!

I said...What's cooler than being cool??...Mélée!!
