TEAM HISTORY/SEASON RECAP
Superfly comes to Seattle with some of the best STUFF ever
(DSI!), ready for some more SHK's.
What to expect from Fly '04: Captains Rosie, Lyndsay, and Milch, all powerhouse
players you won't want to try to guard. Supra-captain Jenny Burney, bringing
a shocking work ethic and a heart so big it don't need foot-bones. Robin and
Peeps, coaching us to victory with their pitiless strategizing and an unparalleled
love of the sport.
Ridiculous plays from every single member of our 19-mile deep team: Enessa,
stirring the pot o' love and pushing herself (and your poor zone offense) to
the limit. Casey, highest offensive completion percentage on the team and most
effective lay-out poacher. Hannah, getting into your star player's dome with
the toughest defense on our team.
Second-year players stepping up and owning new roles: Crystal's lovely throws
a force for our offence, Mary Lyn's make-it-look-easy run-through D's, Ruthie's
sheer guts yielding bomber layouts, Jess Guh's speed and grit firing up the
whole team, Alicia taking over the "she's the longest!" distinction
from a former Fly, Caitlin's chilly mark and prescient continues.
And what team could have more dynamic rookies? Christina's cute giggle and terrifying
trap, Berk getting UP for hot D's in the cup, Anna Hare's broken-finger grabs
and push passes, the Fong's crazy breaks and perfectly placed puts, Kaily's
shapely calves pushing her through the air for those flyingswimmingskying D's,
Jen Lau trilling all the way through veteran-caliber handling skillz.
Seriously, though, DTFU. This is NAFP.
