TEAM HISTORY/SEASON RECAP
Thought to be only one hit wonders whose time had passed,
the Air Squids went soul searching and instead of selling out and becoming all
about the money, they decided to be all about the music. The Squids once broke
up because of too many lead singers and creative differences, but after spending
a week apart they realized they couldn't survive in the real world without each
other so they got the band back together and promised that they will set aside
their differences for the greater good rock and roll.
Working together they formed a cohesive group in which nothing could come between
them. There were times when the bonds in between the Air Squids were tested,
but the Squids held strong and proved that they could do all again.
Featuring the smash radio single "It Was Wet When We Got There," the
Air Squids' latest album highlights the maturity of a group that could only
be a result of dealing with the harsh reality of a thousand years of blood,
sweat and tears of a generation of young squids whose seasons ended before their
time.
After the addition of a new bassist, and a new manager, Turtle, the band released
its latest album, "Everything's cool dude," inspired by a shower experience
gone terribly wrong. Their new album should hit stores right around May 28th.
Release party is in Seattle.
