How they got here:
2nd in the Central Region
Iowa is a bit iffy, but they are still very good. They have less individual skill than some other teams in their region, but play well as a team. They are fairly deep and have good strategy, knowing where their strengths lie. Their spirit is much bettter than in years past.
Iowa is a strong team, but it's not totally clear to me why! They seem to be able to come down with a lot of hail mary grabs of hucks from Colleen Roarty who can put it long wind or no wind. They also have a core who've played together a couple years - including last club season, which was great experience for them. If you can stop Colleen Roarty - you can probably stop Iowa.
