How they got here:
3rd in Southwest Region
Offense: Good mixture of deep and in games. When the deep is open, they have excellent throws and good connections. In cuts are more what they go for. They have a good zone O with their deeps and poppers pretty active. Nice swings, and definitely tire out the defense.
Defense: Good zone d too. I've really only seen this team in zone, so i'm not sure how their man is. Deeps on zone D are aggressive, which made for some pretty intense collisions. High spirited, yet aggressive team that any opposition would love to play against.
First of all, Arizona has great spirit. Since they have a smaller squad, and I dont think they have a coach, they understand how much work it takes to get a group together. They are somewhat scrappy, but have a couple strong handlers, in #14 Emma Harty and #33 Joelle Sarlls and some really athletic players that just put everything out there. Emma likes to throw deep, but more often than not doesn't have anyone to throw to. They are a newer team, and that is apparent in their playing.
