Penn State Isis first appeared on the college ultimate scene in 1995. The team has steadily risen through the ranks and has recently become a nationally competitive team. In 2002, Penn State qualified for Nationals for the first time in its brief history, finishing in the 11/12 spot. During the 2001-2002 season, Penn State boasted the smallest team at nationals, a mere twelve players.

2002-2003 has brought gigantic changes to Penn State Isis. An incredible rookie class, lovingly called "Special Isis," led by freshmen Erin Crider and Kim Breese, has helped the team develop a great deal of depth. Our experienced players, also known as "Geriatric Isis," are lead by Callahan nominee Heather Wolnick and lay-out superwoman Sarah Lahm.

This season, Isis bonded as a team on and off the field. Some of the more memorable moments include: Isis wins Fall Collegiates, Isis wins Queen City Tune Up, Isis wins Huck of the Irish and brings home a giant beer stein, Isis wins the Penn State Invite/Spring Phling, Isis wins PA Sectionals, Isis plays IM basketball, Isis plays IM soccer, Isis goes to Sheetz, Isis goes bird watching, Isis makes quarters at Stanford and Easterns, Isis slip 'n slides to learn how to lay-out, Isis does more plyos, Isis builds a shelter, Isis builds a model rocket, Special Isis scores a Callahan goal during the finals of Regionals, Isis wins the Metro East Region.

Isis gets their priorities in order (Priority #1 = ULTIMATE), Isis goes to NATIONALS!!!
