Brown University's Disco Inferno is returning to Nationals for the 5th year in a row. Despite losing 9 seniors, including last year's Callahan winner, Disco is as strong as ever, with 9 sophomores that can all dominate on the field. Along with a solid core of experienced players, the strength of our team lies in our depth, determination, and staying power. So far this season, Disco has had strong showings at Stanford, Easterns, Ultimax, and Yale Cup, placing consistently in the top 5 and proving that we can play with the best teams in the country. A large part of this success is due to our two coaches, Ted Munter and Greg Connelly, who bring an incredible amount of knowledge and spirit to the team. You could also say that a good balance of sweet and wheat makes our team a delicious double-sided duo. Dynamism, bison, and tricksiness can all be found on this team, and if you ever want rocks identified or scary contraptions engineered, look no further. And come on, what other Ultimate team has performed at the grand opening of a Krispy Kreme? On and off the field, Disco displays an intensity and a love for the game and each other (and donuts!) that other teams would be hard-pressed to match. With our relentless defense, big offensive plays, and deep sidelines, Disco is aiming high at Nationals, and is determined to love every minute of it.
