Birthed in the cool, laid-back vibe of '85, the Carleton Ultimate Team has steadily grown in prosperity, wit and girth, forming an Ultimate juggernaut that has been at Natties every year since 1990. With semifinals appearances in 8 of the last 10 National Tournaments and a Championship in 2001, CUT represents what is arguably the greatest dynasty in college Ultimate history.
But in 2003, deep in the cornfields of rural Minnesota, a crack squadron of dudes has been assembled to wreak havoc and poop without regard upon our enemies. Spurred ever onwards by the quest for victory and a love of the disc, CUT 2003 follows the words of wily veteran Seth "Sweet Tea" Partnow: "Beware the hamster-horse my friends, and remember-your foes will receive their comeuppance."
So drop a deuce and call me chessmaster. Gonna checkmate your handlers with our bishop Chu. Your silly pawns have no chance against the force of our Queen Sparling-Beckley and our knights McDonough and Huang will hurdle Seth to trap King Ben. Your Tartakower Gambit will not fool us for we rode in on a donkey and will leave with the trophy. Game.
