Congratulations to our 2002 UPA College Division Champs, Stanford Bloodthirsty (Open) and UC San Diego Psycaughtit (Women)! Both teams put on a clinic this weekend with game after game of great play and class. Both are deserving champions.

The field site for the tournament was fantastic and the Spokane crew and other tournament staff created a sweet environment for a memorable weekend of hot college ultimate. There was plenty of action all weekend, from top seeds proving they were the teams to beat, to big upsets and new teams showing their stuff. Just goes to show that despite rankings or perceptions about who is better than who, you've got to play the games.

Congratulations also to the Stanford women and Wisconsin men for making the finals and pulling out some big wins along the way. And finally, congratulations to all the teams who participated. It's a great accomplishment just to make it to the championships. We hope that win or lose, you'll go away from the tournament with a desire to make it back next year!
