Online Rostering: FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Following are the general questions frequently asked about our online rostering system.

For more specific questions and answers regarding specific sections of the rostering system, please continue on one of these pages:

  1. I paid online, but my captain tells me the roster says I still need to pay. How do I get the roster updated?

Currently, there is a delay in records updating on the website. Depending on your membership, this delay can be up to 2 days. If you are a new member, the delay will be longer than for previous UPA members who just need to renew for this year.

Should the tournament director require you to pay for an additional year to be dues current, you can request a refund from the UPA for the double payment, or apply your payment to next year's dues.

In the near future, this delay will be reduced to less than 30 minutes.

  2. I paid my dues last weekend at another tournament, but the UPA says I still need to pay. What gives?

When you pay at a tournament, your dues are submitted by the tournament director to the UPA. If the director doesn't submit the waivers and dues in a timely manner, the accounts of all members who pay at the event may be out of date from the member's perspective.

We will do all we can to update your account as quickly as possible once we receive the tournament materials from the director.

  3. When I view the roster pages, I'm told I'm "Not Authorized" to view the page. But when I follow the login link and login correctly, I'm still told I'm "Not Authorized." Is the system broken?

Depending on your browser page view configuration settings, your browser may not be reloading the page from the website even though the page content has changed. You can regain site access by clearing your UPA website cookies and disk cache.

If you have an inexpensive, fast Internet connection, you may also consider reloading the page each time you view it:
